Navigator PREP College Transition Program

NavigatorPREP badgeNavigator PREP is a virtual program to help college bound students and parents prepare for the upcoming transition to college.  High School students enter the program a year before they plan college. Navigator PREP helps students learn the skills they need to make the most of their college experience.

Navigator PREP, under Beacon College’s newly developed Transition Center, is the country’s first virtual transition program for neurodiverse students. Designed for students entering college within the next six to twelve months, Navigator PREP uses a virtual model and a skill-based curriculum to develop students’ executive functioning, social, and emotional regulation skills.

Participation in Navigator PREP is open to any student with a learning disabilitity, regardless of what college they ultimately attend.

Students can enter Navigator PREP anytime from November – May. For the nine-month program, families receive nearly fifty points of contact through individual sessions, webinars, newsletters, and check-ins. All students complete Beacon College’s Transition Questionnaire and receives a final extensive Transition Report that focuses on strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
